EV Charging for Apartments in Kerala

Living in a flat? We handle the NOC, KSEB meter separation, and dedicated wiring — so you can charge at your parking spot without any common electricity disputes.

    1

    Get NOC from Association

Draft a formal request to your apartment association. We provide a template letter and help you present the technical safety case.

    2

    Separate Meter or Sub-meter

KSEB allows individual EV charging meters. We handle the application so your charging cost is billed separately — not on common electricity.

    3

    Dedicated Parking Spot Wiring

Our engineers run a dedicated cable from your meter to your parking spot with proper earthing, MCB protection, and IP54-rated enclosure.

    4

    Install & Commission

Charger is wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted. We test, certify, and hand over — typically within 2–3 days of electrical readiness.

    FAQs

    Home EV Charger FAQs

A 3.3 kW home charger costs ₹15,000–₹25,000 plus ₹5,000–₹10,000 for installation. A 7.4 kW charger (recommended for daily use) costs ₹25,000–₹45,000 plus ₹8,000–₹15,000 installation. Prices include KSEB-compliant wiring, earthing, and safety devices.
Yes. You need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your apartment association and a separate KSEB meter or sub-meter. PixellEnergy provides a template NOC letter and handles the entire KSEB application and installation process.
The Tata Nexon EV supports up to 7.4 kW AC charging via a Type 2 connector. We recommend the Pixell Bolt 7.4 — it charges a Nexon from 20% to 100% in about 4–5 hours overnight, which is ideal for daily commuters.
For chargers up to 7.4 kW, you can typically use your existing domestic connection if your sanctioned load is sufficient. For 22 kW chargers, you'll need a 3-phase connection and may need a load enhancement from KSEB. PixellEnergy handles all approvals.
Home EV charging uses your existing domestic tariff, which is slab-based: ₹2.90–₹8.00/kWh depending on total consumption (FY 2025–26 rates). For heavy EV users, a separate KSEB meter can help avoid pushing into higher slabs. Visit our KSEB tariff page for the full rate chart.
Absolutely. PixellEnergy installations include proper earthing (below 5 ohms), 30mA RCD protection, surge protection devices, and IP54-rated weatherproof enclosures. All installations comply with KSEB and BIS safety standards.
